After a week "the Ocean" didn't make me rich.

Of course not, I didn't expect that either. There are some dollars left over from pinging & trackbacks, but this didn't make the pig fat. Now the ocean is idling...

I did the wrong thinking.
Not totally wrong, I have 180 blogs with kinda good posts in it. That will count for future use. But thinking to slap adsense on each blog and hope people are clicking was wrong. Totally. I reading more and more about SEO, and that adsense thing only works if people are willed to click the ads. And the few that actually clicked, came from the pinging sites I guess.

Wrong equipment?
Maybe, maybe this didn't work out because I used the wrong equipment, and by that I mean my one computer at home.
The "fashion" blog do well, 1-2$ a day. The content is not better than in the "ocean" blogs, but the promotion of the blog. A cronjob is set up, wich ping every 10 minutes to multiple services. The "ocean" blogs get pinged very slowly from home. Imagine every blog get's pinged every 10 minutes (have to be from different IP's), the calculation is simple: 180blogs*1$*30days.
But nobody says that this will work out, so I don't put much in right now. Anyway, I have already an Idea how to do this with no costs: Free web space (180 different!) + 180 free cronjobs. Much work.

Still not useless!
Some blogs are already indexed, and much will follow I guess. Like 5ubliminal wrote "These sites are like wine. Aging them only gets them better." So I leave the "ocean" alone till I need them.

Currently my plan is this:

  1. Finish "Shameless Blogger Creator" (will be kick ass)
  2. Sell some copys, make some money
  3. Reinvest this in hosting and domains
  4. Set up some good keyword related websites
  5. Promote them Whitehat & Blackhat style, compare what works.
  6. Let you know about how things work out ;)
That's it, over and out.

Spam the Ocean

So, two options: Promote each blog in "the Ocean" carefully OR stay shameless and going the easy way. Of course I know that this blogs will not run forever, so let's do some dirty tricks. Currently I spam some trackbacks related to keywords to wordpress.com blogs. Not to pump up the PR, of course there are nofollow attributes, but to get visitors on the blogs. I just promoted 3 blogs this way, and got a user rise from 40 to 150 (all in all!). It now takes 9 days to 'promote' (hehe) ocean blogs. Just let's see what happens.

"Ocean" has now water, Blog Farm up!

Finally, the Blog Farm is now up, took a lil work even it was all automated. Here are the stats:

  • Total Blogs: 180
  • Total Posts: 4205
Not so bad for the first hit, huh? These are the features as well:
  • Only one blog per user (hard to remove the entire farm)
  • Each blog has backlinks to 20 other random blogs in the farm
  • Keywords are linked to clickbank hops
Now it's time to promote these blogs. I'm already pinging for like 20 hours. Next step is bookmarking, heard this is a promising technique. Therefor I also code my own tool, those "automated" tools out there aren't automated enough for me... I just like it my way. And maybe others do too, in the future I will sell several tools I developed for blackhat SEO usage. Stay tuned!

Ow, my Blogger Creator is something different

I just realized that my blogger account creation tool is slightly different from other ones. 'Normal' software will create multiple blogs in one user account. Now that's not the best thing to do, let people complain about your blog(s) and they just have to remove your account. All your blogs will be gone! Now what my tool do is, creating one blog for one user. Now that's the real deal, if one blog (account) get's deleted the others are still there. Now here comes the problem, if you want to access your blog via GData API (for automatic posting) it will tell you that your mail is not verified. Of course, never followed the activation link Google sends. The solution is simple:

  • Register with a trash mail (such as discardmail.com)
  • Wait for activation mail, read out the activation link, of course via code
  • Follow that link (via cURL in PHP as example)
  • Happy automatic posting
Of course that took a lil longer to setup, but once it's done you got a killer blog farm, not depending on one user account.
I think tonight I register all 180 blogs, tomorow I will run the script for mail verification and start to fill the blogs. Wohoo.

There is a wave coming, Codename: Ocean

Time to go a step forward. The last day's I read much about blackhat seo, and I found out about "blog farms". The principle is easy, have many many blogs with low/mid quality content, stuffed with ads. There are several solutions out for that, like "Blog Solution" or "Blogger Generator". I tested them out, but they didn't work for me, sure they did what they claim, but it doesnt fit my needs. If you want custom results you need custom tools, right? And after some hours I came up with my "Shameless Blogger Creation" Tool, and it works like a charm. Very automated, input is a .txt file with username, password, display title, blog name, blog url and path of template file. And that is generated via a PHP script wich get RSS feeds depended on a keyword. So for the first run I am going with ~200 keywords, 200 blogs a 25 posts, thats all in all 5000 posts. Did I already say I developed a program for automated posting too?! ;) I'm execited to see it running, should be tomorow night.

P.S.: The 30 minutes backlinks sucked ass so far, 50 visitors. But I test another method, called "pingRiot". A lil script developed by me, simple ping main ping services with the latest article url's of the fashion blog. -Every- 5 minutes ;) Cronjob ftw.
